Mother's Day 2013
In the UK, it is traditionally held on the 4th Sunday in Lent, but it is held on other dates throughout the year in other parts of the world. In Europe , Mother’s Day is on the 2nd Sunday in May, where as in Russia it is on the last Sunday in November !
Mothering Sunday was a time when domestic servants were given time off to visit their families, and was often the only time when whole families would be able to get together.
Mother’s Day was first celebrated in America, in the early 1900’s, the two events have now merged into a time to celebrate and honour Mother’s, motherhood and maternal bonds , everywhere.
As flowers are the symbol of pure love, they make the best gift for Mother’s Day !
Our mini-fleet of drivers will be on the road delivering throughout Chichester, Bosham, Selsey, Wittering, Bognor Regis and Barnham, all day on Saturday 9th and again on Sunday 10th.
